Ins Licht Vol. 4 – Mit Stil, À la Mode, In Style

The Swiss Post is celebrating 175 years of tradition. This long period is characterised by many innovations. For the public, it is not only the achievements in the fields of infrastructure or logistics that are significant, but also its daily interaction with the employees during mail delivery, in the postal car or at the counter. These people are important representatives of the company. They characterise our everyday perception of the Swiss Post, not least because of their uniforms. The latter are carefully designed by the company. The collection of the Museum of Communication contains extensive photographic archives documenting various kinds of uniforms. They vividly depict how the Swiss Post wanted to be seen in the different eras of its history.
