OFFCUT

The exhibition Planetopia was designed and built by OFFCUT’s sustainable scenography studio in Zurich. Wherever possible we have tried to reuse existing materials. Most materials and elements of the exhibition are reused. Green labels show where the elements came from, and which ones are being used for the first time.

OFFCUT material markets

It is a sustainable and fun idea. We collect used and leftover materials that would otherwise be thrown away. We sort, store and sell the materials for reuse in new projects, thus prolonging their lifespan OFFCUT material markets can be found in Basel, Zurich, Bern, Lucerne and now also in St Gallen.

About the project

Even before the exhibition Planetopia – Space for World Change opened its doors, we went on the road with its subject matter. At the museum, in the quarter, in the city of Bern, on the Swiss Plateau and in the Alps. We spoke to the people we met about climate change and biodiversity, made world change agreements and tried to develop solutions with them.
